Eco Green
Eco Green is a DBKL's green pilot project whereby, all the green/landscape waste are sent to its Phase 3 Jinjang nursery. It received an average of 600 tonnes of green waste daily from DBKL and MBPJ. The main reason in intiating the project is to help reduce waste being and extending the lifespan of landfill. The waste generated can also be converted into by-products
Among the by-products generated from the green waste are, wood, mixed wood, logs, woodchip, mulching & compost, that are sold to interested buyers.
